Tiger Perch Jig

For years, anglers of the ponds, lakes, and stillwaters of the NY and PA "Twin Tiers" have been looking for a realistic perch fry pattern.  They never have found one that looks as real and works better than a JJ’s Tiger Perch Jig.

One look and you will quickly see what sets this jig apart from others. This jig flexes and moves due to the green and black barred feathers on the sides of the jig.  The collar hackle feathers pulsate back and sheen as you retrieve through the water columns.  A short beard of orange bucktail gives the coloration of a perch belly.  The thorax shines from the flexible golden-orange mylar piping even when fished in stained or murky deep depths.  The subtle flash and sheen drives the predatory fish to attack.  The top of the jig is made with a soft rabbit zonker strip.  Rabbit fur is a very soft natural fiber that pulses and moves more freely than most synthetic materials. For this reason, when used correctly, it creates jigs that are more lifelike than ever before.
