About us at JJ’s Jigs
I would like to start by thanking you for visiting our store today. Welcome! We are glad you stopped by!
We are family owned and operated. Our dedicated family team of spin fishing and flyfishing anglers can be found 300 yards from the North Branch of the Susquehanna River. We live, work, and especially fish here in the heart of the beautiful Endless Mountains of North Central Pennsylvania.
JJ’s Jigs was founded in 2009 by Dave and Karin Pelachik as an excuse for Dave to fish more and get paid for it, which of course, backfired. Now he works 6,000 hours a week at his fly and jig tying bench, unless he’s out fishing... product testing! Being a quick study, it took Dave exactly three days to figure out a company is really about its customer, so this is the last time you’ll hear of any of the we’re-so-awesome, company-centric, rah-rah dreck from us and where we turn this whole thing back on the folks who really matter. YOU! As an angler, what do you need from a fly or jig pattern? As a dealer of fishing products, how can we help grow your business? Seriously. We’d love to hear how we can make your fishing or business better, so how about sending us an email and helping a bunch of equally obsessed anglers out?
We are proud to work along side of Lance Dunham of www.ldguideservice.com. Lance is our offical Pro-Staffer for JJ’s Jigs. He has been bass fishing all of his life and fishing the North Branch of the Susquehanna River is truly his passion. Lance is the consummate professional and if you really are serious about bass fishing you definitely need book a fishing charter trip with LD Guide Service.
Our mission is to make fishing products that we think are the very best on the market. We don’t carry any “junk” stock like some other larger online stores and we personally design and hand-tie all of our own jigs and flies in-house to ensure that the quality of our products are unbeatable. If we carry it, it’s because we believe in it... and because it works, and works WELL! We think our Jigs and flies blow all the other stuff on the market - completely out of the water!
We also maintain a great relationship with organizations that provide conservation to our wild fisheries that hold both cold and warm water gamefish. Here at JJ’s Jigs our family takes pride in our civic duties and conservation efforts. We are active members in the following groups: North Branch Smallmouth Alliance, Art Bradford - Northern Tier Chapter #357 of Trout Unlimited, Twin Tiers Fiver Rivers Chapter of the Federation of Fly Fishers, Schrader Creek Watershed Association, North Branch Conservancy, The Freshwater Trust, Project Healing Waters, Project CLEARWATER in Youth Flytying, and the Towanda Area Outdoor Recreation Board.
Here are some of JJ’s Jigs family in "action shots" having fun fishing
!

Top: Joel "Bubby" Pelachik getting some "blue-gill action" at Mountain Lake, Burlington, PA and some summer smallmouth fishing on the Susquehanna River in Wysox, PA.
Left: Josh "Juice" Morgan flyfishing for summertime smallmouth bass on Sugar Creek, North Towanda Township, PA. Josh is an excellent fly angler and usually catches more fish than I do!
We are truly a modern online representation of an old ’mom and pop’ store. We always love to hear from you with suggestions, feedback, and of course "fishing lies... um, er... stories" from our customers. We will always provide you with up-to-date information on river and stream conditions in the Endless Mountians area. So feel free to contact us at jjsjigs@epix.net
If your new to us, we can’t wait to do business with you. If your a loyal customer THANK YOU for your support.

I would also like to send a special thanks to my beautiful wife, Karin, for being so supportive of this little adventure we now know as "JJ’s Jigs" and for bringing my two best boys into the world; Joshua and Joel (The two "J’s" in JJ’s Jigs) and dealing with the constant mess of fur and feathers all over the carpet and my jig making and fly-tying bench. I love you, Karin.
Take a look at Dave’s jig and flytying bench... it’s really a mess!
