JJ's Hall of Fame
JJ’s Jigs Hall of Fame - I’ll make ya famous!
One way to assure quality angling for future generations, and the preservation of wild fish, is to practice ’catch and release’ so fish can live another day and challenge other anglers. JJ’s Jigs Hall of Fame was created to recognize and document the catching of challenging fish on JJ’s Jigs and Flies and celebrate our angling. Our online Hall of Fame Photo Gallery allows you to share your success with hunreds of other anglers. To qualify, simply attach a photograph of the fish and email it to us at jjsjigs@epix.net If desired, one may also submit any details of tackle used, conditions under which the fish was taken.
But don’t worry - we don’t want to know the location you caught it (because we don’t give away your secret fishing spots)!
Feast your eyes below on this steaming pile of piscatoral goodness! All taken on JJ’s Jigs and Flies!
4/28/10 - 30 inch Muskie caught on a 3/16oz. JJ’s Black Booger Jig in the North Branch Susquehanna River.

4/28/10 - 20 inch 4lbs 14 oz. Smallmouth caught on a Baby Bass Brown Booger Jig

This year (so far) LD has boated close to 15 pike and muskie! JJ’s Jigs has helped out along the way!

5/14/10 - Even in the pouring rain JJ’s Black Booger Jig produced a 40 inch Northern Pike for LD.

5/29/10 - Just proof that JJ’s works everywhere!
Hi Dave,
"Getting a little fishing time out here in California. I gotta say those jigs have not let me down. I had a chance to use them in Yosemite and a small lake in the Sierra’s and they always work. I’m including a pic sorry about the cell phone quality. I actually had another brown 2" bigger that I released, the jigs make the difference! Keep tying them!" - Jon Selbicky.

8/20/10 - Dave caught a 17.5 inch smallie on a colored black Fat Head Minnow Fly.
10/27/10: The Pumpkin Grubber is a killer for big fish on the NB Susquehanna. Check it out!

10/27/10: Rob Policastro with a beautiful smallie caught with a Pumpkin Grubber!

11/5/10 - Greg Bacorn with a pair of hefty smallies catught on a 3/16oz. Mrs. Simpson Jig. Nice job, Greg!!

The Mrs. Simpson Jig produces even under very cold and rainy weather and high dirty water conditions! Fishing in November is very challenging but the Susquehanna River still gives up the trophy bass to Greg's angling skills. I'm impressed by Greg's 18.5" smallie.

Logan McNeil with a fine New River, VA smallmouth bass!

I caught this Tiger Trout in one of my local freestoners on 9-26-11 on a #2 Black Emerson Hough Bucktail Streamer. Not a huge fish, but extremely rare to catch in Pennsylvania.
11/20/11 - Mike Brown caught this Northern Pike on a JJ's Walleye Zonker Jig. But that wasn't all! He lost his Zonker Jig and put on one of my Arkansas Bucktails. He then got ahold of a 26-inch Northern Pike but has he was trying to get it to his feet, the Pike made one last run and popped the jig.

Twenty-inch Smallmouth caught on March 16, 2012 on an Orange/Black Chilly-Bou Jig.

Ryan Lignilli with a fine smallmouth taken on the Ugly Grubber Jig on the Upper Potomac River.

Nate Johnson with his largest "Yankee Smallmouth" caught north of the Mason-Dixon Line. He was fishing with me (Dave) on the North Branch Susquehanna River on 8/24/12 and was using a Rusty Red Bolivian Chickenbat Fly.

Lances first fish of 2013 was caught on a JJ's Jigs Chilly-Bou on February 27 in a freezing rain/sleet storm!
