Jig-A-Bugger

The Jig-A-Bugger pays homage to the most successful fly of all time, the Wooly Bugger. Tied with a marabou tail, Krystal Flash tailing accent, and Chenille with saddle hackle body. The Jig-A-Bugger has proven itself time and time again. It doesn’t matter if you’re fishing the Susquehanna River for bass, coastal rivers for shad runs,  Arkansas River for trout, weedy impoundments for crappie, or a trickle of a stream only you know about… this pattern is as close to the "money" as it gets.

John “BooDreaux” Baumann of Fishing Florida Radio is holding up Steve Chapman's nice looking Shad.  John and Steve are 2 out of the "3 Amigo's" who broadcast Florida's premier fishing radio show on740AM "The Game" Radio in the Orlando Metro area.   They told me that the shad run was fabulous this year and they had a banner day of 40 shad using nothing but JJ's Jig-A-Buggers!

























Fish it anyway...  tipped with a minnow, on a dead drift, under a float, suspended with a bobber, a fast or slow retrieve, bottom bouncing, but don't forget to let it swing at the end of the run for monster strikes!  All fish love these jigs, from crappie, panfish, shad, trout, bass, to Salmon and Steelhead!
